Spiked and Spiced Apple Cider

cook time – 2 hours
Using apple cider you cook it with maple syrup, red wine, cinnamon, lemons and oranges. Lemons and oranges in wheels for a more attractive garnish and so people can drink around them. The one thing that always gets me is trying to drink around all the small fruits floating around all the time! Put all ingredients in a crock pot and then put on low. Let it simmer and cook for a good 2 hour to get all the cinnamon flavors out!
If its just adults you can add a liter of whiskey of your choice to the end after is is all finished!
INGREDIENTS

1 gallon apple cider

2 Cinnamon sticks

1 cup red wine

4 oranges, use 2 in the cider and 2 for garnishes

4 lemons, use 2 in the cider and 2 for garnishes

1 liter of whiskey – bourbon, scotch, Irish, any really!
